You can also watch videos with an optional CCA750 cable and external monitor. One of the benefits of integrated operation is the simple control function, which allows operation using the iPod / iPhone controls that you’re used to using, in addition to controllability from the source unit.

The ABC Search function lets you list the names of Songs and Artists stored on your iPod that start with your chosen alphabet letter. This is much more convenient than going through a long list of everything, or having to tap in a specific name. What’s more, your iPhone or iPod battery is charged while connected to the main unit, so it’s ready to go at full power the moment you reach your destination.

Enjoy interactive Pandora® anytime on the road

The source unit’s Pandora® feature works together with the Pandora® app on your iPod touch / iPhone, so you can listen to Pandora® in your car. Select from different song selections based on musical genre, etc. Pandora® is interactive, so it plays songs while you feedback a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” which is reflected in future selections. Song information, as well as the ability to bookmark Artists/Songs, or even create your own station, are supported by the Pandora® App on your smartphone.

In addition to providing 3 preset equalisation patterns — BASS BOOST, IMPACT, and EXCITE — Clarion’s Beat EQ even lets you freely customise the level and range of the bass, midrange and treble portions of each pattern. You can tune the sound to your liking, depending on the category of music, for a more fulfilling listening experience.

MAGNA BASS EX for dynamic bass resonance

Now, Clarion’s MAGNA BASS EX boosts the bass by nearly 12 dB, at even lower frequencies of around 50 Hz — lower than that of ordinary loudness circuits which are at around 100 Hz — to provide extra-low frequency impact. It even automatically compensates the volume level to ensure well-balanced dynamic bass at any level.

Built-in High and Low-Pass Filters
